Our Approach

At Sawdust & Espresso, everything we make and sell is part of a small, hands-on operation. Many of our products are handcrafted in our shop, and we take pride in their quality.

If something isn’t right, we want to work with you to make it right.


Woodworking Products

Because our wood products are handcrafted, each item is unique and may vary slightly in grain, color, and appearance.

We accept returns under the following conditions:

• You contact us within 14 days of receiving your item
• The item is unused and in original condition
• The item is returned safely and securely packaged

Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will issue a refund to your original payment method.

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.


Custom and Personalized Items

Custom or personalized items — including engraved cutting boards and Sawdust Syndicate membership boards — are non-refundable, except in cases where:

• The item arrives damaged, or
• There was an error on our part

If there is a problem, please contact us and we will work with you to resolve it.


Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Include:

• Your order number
• A description of the issue
• Photos of the item and packaging

We will repair, replace, or refund the item as appropriate.


Sawdust Syndicate and Founding Memberships

Sawdust Syndicate and Founding Supporter memberships represent a commitment to support the restoration and launch of Sawdust & Espresso.

Because membership benefits include custom items and lifetime discounts, memberships are generally non-refundable.

However, if you have concerns, please contact us and we will review your situation individually.

Our goal is to treat supporters fairly and respectfully.


Restaurant Food and Beverage Purchases

Food and beverage purchases made at Sawdust & Espresso are not eligible for refunds once served.

If there is a problem with your order, please notify us immediately so we can correct it.

Customer satisfaction is important to us.


Merchandise (Future Items)

For standard merchandise such as apparel or accessories, returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in original condition.


How to Request a Return

Your name
Order number
Description of the issue

We will respond with return instructions.


Refund Processing Time

Once a return is received and approved, refunds are typically processed within:

5–10 business days

depending on your payment provider.


Shipping Returns

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:

• The item was damaged
• The item was incorrect

We recommend using a trackable shipping service.
